Case Study: Material Traceability and Data Integrity on a 60 km Pipeline Summer, 2016

November 14, 2016

Vintri recently implemented their traceability and data integrity solution for line pipe and induction bends on a 60km natural gas pipeline project in Alberta, Canada. Vintri’s involvement started at the material procurement stage and continued through to the construction of the pipeline. Initial passes of the traceability and asset data through Vintri’s conformance engine identified significant gaps in data. Vintri reduced the data issues to under 0.15% of assets within the project. read more

vintriID – Data Validation in the Field

December 16, 2015

Transposed data points, lost spreadsheets, and smudged stencils often reduce the ability to operate pipelines safely and efficiently. Vintri Technologies has created a solution that supplies electronic material traceability and data integrity on all required pipe information from the supply chain using barcodes to capture the data for each pipe, which is stored electronically for quick access. The field data validation results from our recent trial are as follows: read more

Integrity Management in the Pipeline Industry

June 30, 2015

Within the Pipeline Industry, Integrity Management is often referring to the systematic approach to ensure the long-term integrity of a pipe. Many companies focus their Integrity Management Program (IMP) on pipe maintenance – monitoring pipeline stress, corrosion, wall roughness, and material fatigue. However, one main problem facing the industry that has begun to be referenced in Integrity Management is the inaccurate data and documentation on pipe information. Transposed data points, lost spreadsheets, and smudged stencils often reduce the ability to operate pipelines safely and efficiently. Vintri can assist in reaching your IMP goals by... read more
